The Beosound Theatre features 12 speaker drivers, including two custom 6.5-inch long-throw woofers, and 80 watts of amplifier power to produce sound pressure levels up to 112 dB for a powerful and immersive cinema experience. Building on the beam-width and beam-direction control developed for Bang & Olufsen's flagship Beolab 90 loudspeakers, the Beosound Theatre offers a new type of three-dimensional sound dispersion thanks to the patent-pending combination of direct side-firing and upward-firing loudspeakers. This means that all the speaker drivers work together, not only to produce the sound, but also to control its beam width and direction.

Bang & Olufsen is known for its unique approach to craftsmanship and design. Based on the principles of modularity, you can easily convert the soundbar into a complete wall-mounted or floor-standing Bang & Olufsen TV experience, so it fits in perfectly and takes up no more space than your existing TV..

The modular design concept also applies to the TV screens and the soundbar cover, both of which are interchangeable. The aluminum "wings" are also expandable for customers whose TV screens grow as they upgrade, proving that Beosound Theatre continues to provide perfectly integrated solutions for longevity.

Although the Beosound Theatre is a powerful single-product solution, it can also be used as a dedicated sound center, offering new possibilities for building your home theater. With seven integrated outputs and support for up to 16 external speakers, it can be the centerpiece of a full Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 surround configuration. In this setup, the Beosound Theatre acts as the center speaker, combining Dolby Atmos decoding and custom post-processing with Bang & Olufsen's proprietary True Image algorithm to maximize the capabilities of all Bang & Olufsen speakers. In addition, the Beosound Theatre features a new bass management system that is unlike any other system. While other systems simply route bass to the most powerful speaker - usually the subwoofer - Beosound Theatre uses all Bang & Olufsen speakers in the system to work together as a single unit.
