The board as such has great equipment in terms of ports and especially various features for clockers, there are really a lot of options in the BIOS, while pleasing the little things like the button to release the primary PCIe card. I primarily look at this board as a special hi-end for clockers, I probably wouldn't buy it for my home PC, but it's great for some record-breaking and OC games.

At the moment, except for the LAN and the price, the new ROG MAXIMUS Z690 HERO board has met expectations in every way, especially the new details for us testers are handy and ASUS obviously knows its users and customers. So if you want a proper but not yet extreme board, but with everything for your games (with processors and DDR5), and money or efficiency and consumption do not matter for you, this is an excellent choice.

This motherboard is a beast! 

One of the best motherboards for the new Intel 12 Gen plataform.

The new motherboards are supported by DDR4 and DDR5 - I have both options. But we will leave the comparison of motherboards for separate videos.

In the role of the motherboard - a magnificent ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Hero, with the wildest cool power system, support for PCIe 5.0, three M.2 drives and a huge heatsink, and even with RGB backlight on top!

Here is a complete "stuffing" - top components, PCI-Ex 5.0 and support for DDR5​

In my opinion, this is a gaming PC for 2022 with top parameters, top hardware, which demonstrates simply phenomenal results.

from first sight, you do not need a lot of time to know the quality of the "Hero" model from ASUS with 20+1 power stages, a lot of new Features from ASUS with 5 slots for the m.2 Gen 4 and 1 PCI-E Gen 5 M.2 Raid Card and a very distinct cooling for the power circuit and m.2 storage units I can’t wait for my first Performance test on this beast
