I have used the Adobe programs for many years, especially InDesign, the old Pagemaker. It is by far my preferred go to for design and layout, BUT since I am now mostly retired, it is most annoying that I am no longer able to use my older Adobe InDesign program and now am forced to pay for an annual subscription! I really don't use it often enough to make it worthwhile but since I have a very large number of saved .indd files, i must subscribe to the new version!

RUN! As far and as fast as you can away from this product. I have no idea what just happened to me. I was recommended this program as a means to design a cover for a book. I use Photoshop and Lightroom and was reasonably assured that I could do magic with this program. There is NOTHING, literally NO CONTENT to this program!!! This is a $10 tool. Even the most basic basic basic programs that have nothing to do with design can do more than this program. This is non-returnable, non-refundable! SAVE YOURSELF!

Quark has been running some fantastic sales recently that have seen half off their latest software. Version 2019 of XPress has been a joy to use so far and has several great YouTube videos that got me up and running on the software in about a week or so. If you are an InDesign CS6 hold out like I was you might want to take advantage of this deal I find the latest version of Quark to be vastly better then CS6 and still have almost every feature that ID CC has including some that it doesn't have yet.
